It was a good time for Templar business and fraternal rendezvous after the City of Bellaire 4th of July Festival rainout. Fortunately, our festival participation fees where refunded by the City of Bellaire and we have been able to recover most of our food expenditures. A big THANKS to the brothers that stepped up and purchased sausages. We plan to donate hot dogs/buns to a food bank; drinks and other supplies will remain at the Commandery for our use. Much appreciation to all those who put on a great festival preparation effort especially Sir Leonard Pierce and Sir Knight Robert Foreman.

At the July Stated Conclave, Sir Knight Matt Bobbitt and Sir Knight Kleber Siqueira were each awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for their dedication and exemplary participation in Commandery activities.

In June and July, the Commandery was actively involved with flag presentations for officer installation ceremonies of our Masonic brothers. We were stretched but met all of our commitments. Many thanks to all the Sir knights who were able to participate. These flag presentations are critical to our recruiting efforts and help to promote the Knight Templar brand.
